Scholarship Information

All applicants must be enrolled in a college/university or trade school AND must have been born or currently reside within one of HFNC’s service areas.

Criteria for consideration will include the following: legibility of the completion of the application, academic excellence, community service experience, recommendations, and personal essay.  We wish you the very best of luck as you pursue your dreams.

Recipients of scholarships please be advised, we will be sending payment directly to your school.  

No individual may receive more than one scholarship per year.  If there are not enough applicants to utilize all available scholarships, the money will be carried over to the following year, thus increasing the amount available in the unused scholarship.

2018 Scholarship Application

Please fill out the application below.  No need to specify which scholarship you are applying for.  Our scholarship committee examines all applications and will make recommendations as to which scholarship is a best fit for each individual based on the previously stated criteria.

Please request that your transcripts be forwarded to the HFNC office as soon as possible (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).  They must be postmarked no later than August 24, 2018.
