Join the arts and crafts session.  The first 60 registrants received event care packages containing supplies for the session.  Everyone received an email with a shopping list for the supplies from the Dollar Store.   Please feel free to join, even if you don't have the supplies.  We would love your company!

I was born and raised in California and travel to Mexico for holidays. My parents Leonardo and Yolanda wanted us children to have the best and not to lose our language or traditions, I am fluent in both. Born of two very creative families with a healthy dose of competition I spent lots of time exploring, learning and creating. I received the best lessons in cooking, knitting, sewing and embroidery surrounded by my parents and extended family. I use a variety of mediums and strive to include recycled materials in my works. I specialize in Dia de los Muertos altars. With a focus on color and textures. I work full time at a rare book library. I am a gardener, mother, grandmother, caregiver, volunteer and affected member of this community. My studio and my garden are my refuge, my children and grandchildren are my light.
