Jeffrey Kallberg, PT, DPT is a physical therapist who also has severe hemophilia. Now 52 years old he has lived through much of the evolution of hemophilia care. He earned his degree in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota in 1994 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota in 2016. He has worked in many settings including his own private practice but is now the Physical Therapist at The South Texas Hemophilia Treatment Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and teaches at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. He has been trained in the use of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound to assist in the management of injuries and joint disease. He learned to manage and rehabilitate from his own joint problems and has spent many years educating and treating others who have hemophilia, from kids to seniors. Aside from being a physical therapist, Jeff has been married for almost 30 years and has 3 kids.
