The Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California would like to recognize The Taylor Family Foundation for hosting our Family Camp held at The Taylor Family Foundation’s Camp Arroyo this year. The Taylor Family Foundation’s mission is to preserve the wellness and enhance the quality of life for children in Northern California with life-threatening and chronic illnesses, disabilities and youth at-risk through unique therapeutic experiences and support.  Who can attend?

Camp Arroyo has 132 beds available for our participants. We welcome everyone living in the household of a person with a bleeding disorder. Previous camps have filled quickly and camp slots are filled on a first come first served basis – this means that once the number of 132 overnight registrations has been reached, a waiting list will be established. Priority will be given to families with a recent bleeding disorder diagnosis and those families who have never attended Family Camp.

What will we do?

Make new friends and enjoy a weekend of arts and crafts, family games, a campfire, a talent show, yoga, educational seminars (e.g., infusion and dental clinics) and more. There will be activities for all ages and interests.

Why should we attend?

This is a unique opportunity to meet other families in the bleeding disorders community, learn from each other, and participate in fun activities in a harmonious and relaxing environment. You’ll have fun – we promise!
