Since being established at the beginning of this year, theWomen’s Outreach Network has been actively working to providesupport and networking resources to women in the bleedingdisorders community. Most recently, WON identified andestablished coordinators within California regions. What’s New? The first WON gathering was held in Region 2 on March 30that Infusions Tea House in Sebastopol. There were 10 women inattendance. discussing outreach efforts to contact more womenin the area in time for our next meeting on June 28th. Region3 held its first meeting on April 5th at La Tapatia Restaurant inConcord. Region 5 was next on April 19th at Tarpy’s RoadhouseRestaurant in Monterey. The goal of the meetings was toidentify additional outreach efforts and ways to contact morewomen affected by bleeding disorders. Future meetings are beingplanned.
